Thank You

Homebound is a story-driven album about belonging and becoming. These are songs that live in the space between motion and rootedness. Long drives, familiar towns, changing seasons, the people we love, and the versions of ourselves we grow into along the way. Musically, it expands on my folk and Americana roots with a fuller, warmer sound: layered instrumentation, subtle pop textures, and melodies designed to linger.

The only thing I truly wished for this record is that people would hear it. Human beings — not algorithms, stream counts, or average monthly listeners. If you're reading this, thank you for caring enough to listen. I am truly proud of this record.

If these songs meet you on your own road, I hope they remind you that change can be beautiful, that we get to begin again as many times as we need, and that home is big enough to hold every version of who we've been.

Thank you for listening, and letting my stories meet yours.

I chose not to spend my budget on a publicist to get press quotes from obscure magazines. Instead, I just talked to people. I sent the songs to friends, I chatted people up after shows, I read comments on social media. Here’s what real people who listen to my music are saying about it.

“These songs are bangers. I’d bang them!”

— Wyatt

"That song was literally insane."

— Brent

"I could be home watching The Beverly Hillbillies, but I'd rather see you play music!"

— Ralph

"After I heard that dog song I was unwell."

— Brian

"...I’m on my second rotation of your new album and I’m blown away! The songwriting, your vocals, instrumentation, production… incredible! It’s so listenable it may become the soundtrack to my summer! I’m incredibly proud of you for honoring your passion and making a career of it. Stay the course and keep making beautiful music!"

— Rick

"You played that most sexily."

— Blake

"You were amazing last night!"

— Kyle
