I wrote these songs because I love songwriting. It's fun, it's one of the most powerful forms of self-expression I've ever found, and it's what drives me.
Writing the songs was the easy part.
Releasing them into the world was something else entirely.
For a solo, independent artist, the undertaking was huge. There were steps along the way where I genuinely doubted myself, whether the record was good enough, whether the timing was right, whether I could see it all the way through. There were real moments of uncertainty that I had to sit with.
But there were enough times where I thought, I have to go for this, that I kept going. And the fact that I wasn't doing it alone made all the difference. The support you showed along the way reminded me, more than once, that this was worth finishing.
So here we are. Records in hand. Ready to be heard.
