When I’m not performing, I’m usually picking dog hair off my pants, sitting on the front porch if the sun’s out, or scheming up ways to build spaces for music in my community—backyard shows, karaoke night, places where people feel welcome and a little less alone. Community matters to me as much as the music itself.
